It represents the struggle, pain, suffering, exile…
It is hard, but at the same time it is a necessary step.

We might not see it right away, we might not know the purpose, because it is hard to see past the hardship and pain that at moments can feel like it is going to crush us…

This little booklet traverses the very enigmatic path, from Apostle Paul's "I am the chief of sinners' (1 Tim 1:14-15) to Jesus blessed words to the sinful woman in the house of Simon, the Pharisee that "her sins, which are many, are forgiven". (Luke 7)

I love music. At one point in my younger days, several years back I was almost desperate for a way out of the painful difficulties that were hitting from every side. I called to a dear friend whose name (and demeanor) was Christian. Poured out my troubles, expecting at least a comforting word. "What do I do," I wailed.

"Keep Going!" was his only response.
That day I wrote this song, word for word as it stands today.
And now 37 years later the song still lifts and I'm still going!!

“THE QUEST”

Many of us have seriously been involved in a QUEST or search for answers and meaning of life. As a young restaurant manager I would often sit by the river there and contemplate deep questions - that is after all customers had gone home.

This is a film about what my life search sparked at that time. My first poem that night. Many questions have been answered, many still remain. Life is an ever unfolding adventure.

Someone knows all the answers.
